The experience at Villa Amerelo was world class. The location was amazing and the service from the entire staff was the best we have ever experienced. The villa manager curated everything to perfection from daily massages, meals and tours. We will definitely be coming back

If you are looking for a 5 star villa experience then this is the villa for you, 4 bedrooms all onsuite with a further downstairs toilet, masses of out door space,proper swimming pool, Gas BBQ with spare gas bottle,with a kitchen equipped with every utensil you could ever need. A great family house with plenty of room. Good free WIFI Bedrooms are large and airy, they also benefit from electric shutters which keep the rooms cool, air conditioning was not really needed in the bedrooms and we stayed when the temperatures were hitting upper 80s every day ! Easy walk down into town and if you don't fancy the walk back up taxis are abundant and cheap. Luz has many bars and restaurants, cuisine to suit all tastes.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful holiday in this gorgeous villa. It was very clean, well equipped, spacious and tastefully decorated. The kids and adults alike loved the pool which was plenty big enough for 8 people, plus numerous inflatables. There was also plenty of loungers to relax on with beautiful sea views. Although there is a good selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance, we also enjoyed our 'nights in' where we made full use of the fantastic barbecue and outside dining area. I've stayed in a number of Villas both on the Algarve, and in Florida but this is definitely one of the best.

This villa has a lovely pool with sea views, two outdoor dining areas (ground floor and balcony), excellent space inside and plenty of secure parking. The beach and restaurants are a leisurely 20min walk downhill - the obvious downside therefore (and only downside to this Villa) is that it's a steep hill walk back up from the sea front - anyone (in my opinion) with walking difficulties may find this walk too much (speaking from someone who ruptured their achilles last year and is more sensitive to this!). The Villa itself though is stunning, very spacious entrance with grand staircase curling up to the first floor is the first thing that meets you, all the rooms have good en-suite and nothing inside disappoints. Excellent villa, had a lovely time there.

We have just returned from Casa Amarelo and have only positive things to say about our holiday. A beautiful and immaculate house with so much space and comfort. The views were out of this world and photographs just don't do it justice. It had everything on our family wish list and much more! Only 10 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants at Luz so a car was not a necessity this year. Lots of time spent around the pool and on the various terraces to eat and drink. Milk and water on arrival is also a lovely touch. We felt well looked after by Gwen, the villa manager, who was on hand to answer any questions and check we were having a great holiday. We would all recommend this villa and its location as an ideal family holiday base.

We were a family of eight including two young granddaughters. Four large bedrooms, two up two down, all en-suite, one upstairs had a bath with shower and there is a further shower room downstairs. Large upstairs terrace area with loungers table and chairs. Large and spacious lounge with Sky and DVD/video player. Plenty of films too many to watch, lots of books to read and games to play. Large kitchen with two fridges, Downstairs and outside all on one level, so no steps. BBQ/dining area with large table and a further table by the pool. Large heated pool with roman steps for easy access. Pool towels provided and welcome pack. Brilliant sea views from both the pool area and terrace. About ten minutes walk to the middle of the resort and beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants, (the south African called the Dolphin, is a must). All in all a fabulous villa with a lot of extras we didn't expect.
