Baan Amandhara is a luxury seafront villa on Ao Yon beach, Phuket, which is one of the only beaches that offers 365 days a year of swimming to travellers. With six bedrooms, of which five are sea-facing and one with its own entrance, the villa is the epitome of modern living with luxurious, minimal interiors, floor-to-ceiling glass walls and windows, infinity swimming pool and Jacuzzi, dedicated BBQ area etc.
Designed by renowned architect, Khun Navachon Suksawat, the villa is minutes away from the best of Phuket’s markets, boutiques, bars, and restaurants, this is the one place where you have all the serenity and peace you could ever wish for and still be close to civilisation!
The villa has been carefully designed with high ceilings in living areas and the six bedrooms to give it a breezier feel and spacious layout. Five bedrooms enjoy sweeping views across the sea while the sixth has its own wonderful entrance and a private terrace garden. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, fitted with HD smart TVs, as well as king bed or two large single beds. There are en-suite bathrooms with each bedroom equipped with double ended bathtubs, walk-in showers, and other amenities.
You can store all your belongings with ease in the safes provided in each room as well as the large wardrobes. There are sitting areas for relaxation where you can curl up with a good book and even enjoy the breath-taking view.
The landscaped gardens at Baan Amandhara are a vision to behold with tropical plants and trees, pebbled pathways, potted plants, palm trees, and a stunning view of the open skies. A 10-metre infinity swimming pool resides right at the edge of the villa overlooking the stunning view of the sea. There is a Jacuzzi inside the pool for some hydrotherapy and endless lounging with hours to enjoy the panoramic beauty of the island of Phuket. There is a designated BBQ corner with a fridge, freezer, ice and wine coolers, etc. Lounge on the sunbeds and enjoy a freshly-grilled spread for some glorious moments.
The living area has been designed in a modern fashion with minimal aesthetics featuring shades of white, beige, greys, and a pop of colour with bright orange cushions and wall art. False ceiling lights enhance the opulence evident in the room and ample natural lighting from outside also make this room cheerful and great for spending time with loved ones. The villa has been designed with a mind to provide as much sunlight and fresh air as possible to its guests with glass walls all around.
Alongside the glass walls is the dining area for Baan Amandhara which looks out towards luscious and verdant tropical foliage. A picnic-style dining table with benches is where guests can relish delicious meals. The fully-equipped western kitchen is open-plan with modern appliances such as double-door refrigeration, electric kettle, hob, cooker hood, etc. The villa has been equipped with a home-cinema with 4m screen and projector.
While staying at Baan Amandhara, guests are at an advantage since the villa offers direct access to the beach out front. They have a wealth of activity equipment you can take out on the water including canoes, or you can enjoy a game of badminton on the villa grounds. There is daily housekeeping at the villa, airport transfers, and a personal concierge who can help organise your day in the most productive manner!
There is so much to do and see around Baan Amandhara that you will feel like you’re short on time. You can simply stay at Ao Yon beach for its excellent restaurants, beach bars, and water activities, or you can move to Phuket’s central markets and shopping district as well. Visit the popular seated Buddha, or take a trip to the nearby islands via boat or ferry.
