Phuket Family Villas for Rent

Phuket is a destination that lends itself to families. Its picturesque beaches might be the main draw, but the island also offers a wide-ranging array of attractions - from cultural sites, to viewpoints, outdoor adventure facilities, kid-friendly beach clubs and more.

Kitted out with family-friendly amenities, your Phuket family villa has everything you need for a fun-filled and restful getaway. You’ll find the essentials - a sparkling pool, sun-dappled garden and tropical-style living spaces - alongside luxuries like indoor-outdoor bathrooms, indoor cinemas, private spa rooms and a swim-up pool bar. Choose from our 2-bedroom villas if you are coming with a small family, or opt for 7 and more bedrooms if you are here with more members.

Service is impeccable; an on-site team takes care of your holiday needs, and your Phuket villa manager will attend to the details, like planning kid-friendly in-villa dining experiences, day trips and more. We’ll also help out with recommending professional child minders, or vendors for renting child safety equipment like pool fences and stair gates.

The beaches along West Phuket draw in families and expats with its lively ambience and wide-ranging amenities. The hotspot in town is Patong Beach, and while it’s a destination known for its party scene, you’ll find plenty of family-friendly hangouts during the day. Just north of Patong lies Kamala Beach. It’s one of our favourite destinations for family vacations: there’s a good variety of dining and lifestyle options, and the vibes are lively, without the busy bustle of Patong.

Travel down south from Patong, and you’ll arrive at the coastal towns of Kata and Karon. Both destinations are a hit with families: the beaches are postcard-perfect and ideal for a variety of watersport activities, plus there’s plenty else to see and do - including dining, shopping and cultural sightseeing.

The palm-fringed coast of Kata Beach makes a great all-day hangout. Away from the beach, go explore the streets of Phuket Old Town, try flowboarding at Surf House Phuket, cook up a feast at Kata Thai Cooking Class or visit the island’s landmark attraction - the Big Buddha.

The south coast - home to the towns of Rawai, Chalong and Nai Harn - is considerably less touristy, so vacationers will have the opportunity to get a feel for the culture and lifestyles of the locals. Yet, there’s still a good variety of attractions and amenities peppered all around town, making it a convenient base for families to reside at.

It’s easy to see why Nai Harn Beach is the focal point down south: it’s very scenic, with a white sand coast that stretches out endlessly, the bay is popular but not busy, and there’s plenty of restaurants and shops to explore.

Windmill Viewpoint and Phuket Art Village are attractions we’d recommend for sightseeing, and Chalong Bay Rum Distillery offers an interesting tour around the facility, along with cocktail making sessions. Looking to sweat it out? Take the kids out for a flowboarding session at Surf House Phuket. Families with younger children - from toddlers to teens - will appreciate the indoor and outdoor play facilities at Rawai Park.
