Villa Kowhai is a symmetrically laid out vacation residence with idyllic outdoors and compact indoors – made spacious by stylish basics as well as color-coordinated interiors. The villa stands as a showcase for a design approach that makes full use of available space – ideal not just for holiday houses but for contemporary, urban homes as well. Villa Kowhai truly illustrates that maximum comfort and enjoyment can come even in minimalist spaces.
The villa has two bedrooms. One of these has an old-fashioned king-sized bed, a dedicated bathroom with a large tub at the center as well as direct access to the swimming pool. Another bedroom also has a king-sized bed and a dedicated bathroom.
The lush outdoors seem to be proportionately divided between a well-kept lawn with a stone pathway and the eight-meter swimming pool partially shaded by tall tropical plants. Give in to the mesmerizing, crystal-clear waters and take a leisurely dip, wade unmindfully or simply splash around. Out of the water, you can lazily lounge at the wood-decked covered terrace or at the semi-open sala behind the swimming pool’s stone wall fountain.
Indoors, right from the covered terrace, is the living area. Here, you can all gather on the large and long couch facing a big, widescreen TV to catch your favorite show. The dining area is just a few steps away. On the dining table that can seat four, you can impress one another with appetizing specialties which you all took turns preparing and cooking at the nearby kitchen section.
Assigned to the villa’s maintenance and operations is a staff which includes a housekeeper, a gardener and a pool attendant.
From Villa Kowhai’s location, Nai Harn is just a three-minute drive away. This white-sand, swimming beach is also the cast-off point for an island-hopping expedition aboard a traditional Long Tail Boat to nearby Ko Bon, Ko Kaew, Ko Lon, Ko Aeo and Ko Hae – which is also known as Coral Island. Nai Harn also has an abundance of fresh and delicious seafood. Get a taste of the local specialties at Sala Loi as you experience the traditional way of dining – from a mat on the floor. Cap your day trip with a stop at the Phuket Shell Museum and at Promthep Cape View Point to catch the breathtaking sunset.
