Perched atop a rocky headland between Kata Beach and Kata Yai Beach, Baan Saleah is offers uninterrupted vistas out to the Andaman Sea. From the beautiful infinity pool to the collection of designer furniture peppered throughout the living spaces, it’s easily apparent that much thought and care when into the construction of this luxury vacation rental.
The tranquil ambience here will appeal to vacationers seeking to escape the crowds and bustle of the island’s tourist hotspots, and is ideal for a restful retreat. Impeccable service from a team of on-site staff completes your stay.
Baan Saleah contains four finely appointed bedroom suites. Much attention is paid to the details so as to create an environment that facilitates rest and relaxation: high thread count bedlinen is used, the indoor-outdoor en suite is generously proportioned and organic spa products are provided.
The bedrooms are spread out across the compound - a layout that makes Baan Saleah suitable for sharing among two families without compromising on privacy. A TV/ audio room located across the lounge may be converted into a fifth bedroom to house additional guests.

Taking a dip in the infinity pool at Baan Saleah is an incredible experience; rest your gaze on the ocean and you’ll feel like you’re at one with the sea. The sun-dappled outdoor compound invites guests to soak up the breezy Phuket vibes, and thankfully, the pool terrace at Baan Saleah comes fitted with a swinging day bed and double recliners to accommodate sunseekers.
All of Baan Saleah’s living spaces are bright, airy and welcoming. White walls and wooden fixtures dominate within, while furnishings in a vibrant red add splashes of colour within. The main living area can be left as an indoor-outdoor space (ceiling fans will keep the interior breezy), although you have the option of enclosing the space for air conditioned comfort.
Furnished with gray couches and offering ocean views, the lounge area is the main hangout for rest and relaxation. A media room with a 58-inch plasma TV takes center stage on movie marathon nights. The dining area is ideally kitted out for dinner parties; the 14 seater dining table comfortably accommodates a large group, and expansive glass panels enclosing the space bring the stunning coastal scenery in.
Guests at Baan Saleah enjoy all the benefits that come with residing in a full-service property. Your villa manager will readily assist with your vacation needs, whether it’s making arrangements for vehicle rentals or booking paragliding, scuba diving or boat trips. A team of housekeeping staff keeps the villa spick and span throughout your stay, and an in-villa whips up meal after meal (you’ll only have to pay for the cost of groceries).
While the staff at Baan Saleah will assist with babysitting, do note that they are not professional child minders. Guests should take care to provide clear, precise instructions. There are two baby cots available for use without additional charges.
Baan Saleah accommodates a total of 12 guests (10 adults and two kids). Additional fees apply for extra guests, and prior consent is required.
You’re located within close proximity to Kata Beach and Kata Yai Beach; both beaches are just a short walk down the hill, and are great for sunbathing, beach strolls and swimming. The coasts are lined with restaurants and cafes, so you’re never lacking for dining options.
Dining out is a cinch, thanks to the panoply of restaurants surrounding Baan Saleah. We like Mom’s Tri Royale, Bistro Mon Ami, Top of the Reef and Ariake Restaurant. For a casual, fuss-free setting, head to Rum Jungle Cafe. Our to-go venues to soak up Kata Beach’s vibrant nightlife are The Boathouse, Ska Bar and Heaven Rooftop.
Kata Village, located about 3 minutes walking distance is a good bet for souvenir shopping. Further out lies Phuket Old Town, where you’ll find picture-perfect streets lined with Sino-Portuguese buildings. It’s about 35 minutes’ drive from your villa. Popular sightseeing attractions in the vicinity include Wat Chalong, Windmill Viewpoint and Promthep Cape. We also recommend unwinding in the weekends with a luxurious spa ritual at venues like Luxury Spa (Kata Rocks) or Spa at Cape Panwa Hotel.
