Villa Talay Singh is located just two minutes’ drive from Surin Beach in West Phuket. With its picture-perfect white sand shores, turquoise waters and luxury vacation rentals, Surin Beach has garnered a reputation for being a five star destination. While the coastal town may not offer much in terms of attractions, the lack of tourist crowds and serene ambience is precisely what draws vacationers towards this part of the island.
Surin Beach lends itself to a variety of activities through the year. The months of November till April are ideal for swimming. From May to October, strong waves are present in the ocean, creating ideal conditions for surfing. Between October to April is a great time for snorkeling around the headland at the northern end of the coast.
Away from the beach, try out Thai cooking classes at Twinpalms Phuket, sign up for spa rituals at the gorgeous Palm Spa or the Banyan Tree Spa Sanctuary or visit Wat Suwan Khiri Wong, a temple complex boasting stunning architecture.
In addition to incredible in-villa dining options, we’d recommend heading to Bocconcino Deli for Italian fare, DeDos LeLounge for French fusion cuisine, Oriental Spoon Grill & Bar for its magnificent Sunday brunches and Silk Restaurant and Bar for Thai food.
10/10He had a great welcome from the housekeeper, Nuch and her helpers Dan and Dec. Later in the day Chris the owner called rounded to explain how things worked and to assure us that he was easily contactable in case of need. The villa was superb and we were all impressed with the views and location. The pool bar and fridges were kept well stocked and we just had to pay cost price. We highly recommend using Nuch to cook some of your meals, she is fantastic and provided better than restaurant quality for authentic Thai dishes. She also did our basic laundry daily, we would not have lacked so much had we known that her service was going to be that good. All rooms were comfortable with good bathrooms and showers. The pool and pool bar were a favourite to watch the sunsets daily. The villa was located within 5 mins walk of 2 excellent beaches and loads of restaurants and bars, albeit a bit of an uphill walk on a busy road on the way back but you could get a tuk-tuk cheap. We were all sorry to leave and would love to return in future.
