This place is incredible! The views are amazing and the place is incredible. You couldn't ask for more when staying abroad. The apartment is clean and tidied everyday, beds made and cups cleaned etc. The location is only 10mins from the beach and the good side of the beach where it's less cramped and the food markets are. Just a 3min walk and you are amongst restaurants, bars and 7/11's. It's great for eating out and good out after. Only downfall is the pool which is falling apart a bit with sharp tiles and rough edges. But this is such a minor thing in the great scheme of the place. Lovely place that I wish I can come back to one day.
We flew in from UK - family flew in from Oz for a long awaited celebration. The apartment is spacious, light and has a beautiful view over the bay. I asked Stacey to get the chef to put on a birthday dinner for my brother and they did a splendid job. We found the apartment safe and the wifi is excellent. My only negative comment is that there are a few areas of the apartment that need renovation - especially the plunge pool. In which many of current tiles are coming off and are sharp. Don't be put off - we had a great stay.
We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of June and had a superb time. The apartment itself is stunning, looking exactly like the pictures. The three double rooms are all a nice size, with on suite, TV, air con, whilst the master bedroom has the wonderful Jacuzzi bath. The kitchen is massive if you decide you’d like to cook, and there is plenty of room and seats to lounge in the dining area. The lounge area also has a speaker dock you can plug your smartphone into. On arrival, everything was clean and immaculate. We were greeted by Melanie, the property manager, who was very helpful and polite. She showed us around the apartment and how everything worked. Melanie had also brought us complimentary milk, eggs and bread which was a nice touch. There is complimentary water for the entirety of your stay and a mobile phone you can use to call restaurants and taxis etc. The views from the pool are lovely, over looking the beach which is only five minutes walk away. We felt this was the nicer end of the beach as well, away from the jet skis and parasailing that's on the southern end of the beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, and we especially enjoyed the Red Snapper. With regards to booking and communication, the owner Stacey, was brilliant from the outset. She was in constant contact and replied promptly to any questions we had regarding our booking and the local area. She also arranged for a mini van taxi to pick us up from the airport, which was handy as there was four of us. As well as this, I stupidly left my trainers at the apartment which Stacey kindly shipped back to London for me! We are fairly fussy when it comes to hotels and apartments but we highly recommend this apartment for a holiday in Kata. If you like what you see in the photos, that's exactly what you will be getting. Enjoy.
Stacey's penthouse was for sure one of my best vacation rental experience so far. Spacial, clean, good location and nice stuffs. The kids loved the private pool, and spend a lot of time there playing and enjoy the great view. Kata beach is 5 mins walking, and so for the supermarket and restaurants, you basically get everything within a short walk. 200 Baht tuk took can basically take you everywhere in the local area, including major night life area and morning local market if you want to cook by your own. We tried Selly's in-house cooking, which is brilliant, and worth the money for sure.
Super enjoyed our vacation here. It was perfect for a getaway. Loved the kitchen and its appliances, the rooms, the living ROOMS and definitely the pool. Stacey and her cook were really nice and took care of us :) Will definitely visit again, thanks for the great experience!!!
