Located at serene Chalong Bay, Villa Salika is an elegant five bedroom villa kitted out for 12 guests. The decor is opulent and traditional, featuring Thai-style roofs, Buddha statues, oriental accents and rich golden colours. Equipped with a full range of amenities (including a wood-clad yoga sala), Villa Salika lends itself to an array of holidays - from yoga vacations to group getaways with friends and families.
Five bedrooms are spread out across the property. The master bedroom, located on the upper floor features a spacious balcony, four poster bed, sofa and panoramic views over the bay. Guests will appreciate the generously proportioned en suite, which comes complete with a sunken outdoor spa bath and private gazebo.
Two of the guest bedrooms are furnished with king beds and private en suites with sunken bath tubs. The two remaining guest bedrooms are connecting rooms ideal for accommodating families; parents may reside in the queen bedded room, while the kids occupy the second room, which features twin singles. Each bedroom is equipped with a private en suite.
The sparkling infinity pool at Villa Salika looks out to a picture-perfect landscape made up of the glimmering ocean, swaying palms and verdant tropical foliage. When you’re not taking a dip in the pool or jacuzzi, you’ll be sunbathing upon the loungers, relaxing under the shade of the outdoor sala or catching a spectacular sunrise show.
The highlight at Villa Salika is its spacious, wood clad yoga studio. The studio has ample space for 12, and offers a view out to the picturesque scenery surrounding the villa. There’s a spare bedroom too, which may be used to accommodate additional guests or guest yoga instructors.
The living spaces at Villa Salika feel lavish and opulent, thanks to the antique-inspired furnishings, majestic Buddha statues and Asian ornaments that are rich in details. The sunlit living area comes fitted with plump couches, which you’ll look forward to sinking down into after a day spent exploring the outdoors. The adjoining dining area features a 12 seater dining set.
Villa Salika is a full-service property with three housekeepers and a gardener. Service is
provided from 7am - 10pm, unless otherwise specified. Services included with your stay include one airport transfer, as well as the use of a Honda CRV with driver for 8 hours. Private chef service is available at request, and in-house laundry and additional transport are available at nominal rates.
Villa Salika enjoys a prime location along Rawai Beach in Chalong Bay, East Phuket. You’re about 15 minutes’ drive from Nai Harn Beach, which offers excellent swimming conditions between the months of November to April. There’s also Laem Ka Beach, the only beach on the eastern coast that offers great swimming.
Nature lovers will enjoy taking in the island’s scenic coastlines from attractions like Promthep Cape or Windmill Viewpoint. The former can get busy with tourists, so we’d recommend visiting Windmill Viewpoint to avoid the crowds. Old Phuket Town, with its Sino-Portuguese buildings, shrines and temples, museums and cafes offers a great family experience. Stop by Chalong Bay rum Distillery for an informative tour and cocktail workshop, or visit the Phuket Art Village to check out an eclectic array of home studio-cum-galleries.
Rawai has no lack of dining options. In addition to dining experiences, take your pick from restaurants like Rum Jungle Cafe (Italian and international fare), Natural Efe Macrobiotic World (vegetarian and vegan meals), Flip Side (gourmet burgers) and Baan Rim Lay (seafood dishes).
10/10The villa is simply superb if you desire to have exclusively and privacy during your stay in Phuket.
