About Noble House

Despite the fast-growing tourist industry in Phuket, Noble House is situated in much quieter surroundings on the South-East tip of the island that still beholds the slow-moving, traditional way of Thai life. One of the three villas in Moon Cove estate, Noble House is staffed with the very friendly groundsman as well as two housekeepers. A chef is available upon request that can cook you your favourite local dishes or something closer to home. Larger groups can rent the other two villas, which are the neighbouring villas.

The true beauty of the surroundings is truly recognized once you pass the double archway and through the comfortable living room. It is here that the main attraction of Noble House is truly realised, with an unobstructed view of the little bay of Ao Yon. The true authentic life of Phuket can be seen here, providing a very historical aura to this villa. This is because from this vantage point, the pearl farm at the center can truly be seen, with it's colourful buoys and string markers. The panoramic view is also dotted with moored long-tail boats and yachts.

Stretching across the front of this four bedroomed villa is the 10 x 8.5 meter infinity pool where guests can indulge in a cool and refreshing dip whilst taking in the tropical, panoramic views. The outdoor space is truly completed with the estate's large and shared garden. Within it holds coconut palm trees, and many other exotic flowers and plants carefully chosen for their aromatic nature. For those that seek a more active outdoor lifestyle, there is petanque area where you can play on the beachfront.
As well as the four guest bedrooms, there is a king-bedded master bedroom that enjoys the best pool access and views of the sea. Despite the magnificent views found here, there are still amazing views from the other four bedrooms, ensuring that no-one misses the action that can be seen of the bay.
The living space is well equipped and elegant, with a fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining room, and an outdoor terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

With such a tranquil setting, Noble house is sure to be the perfect tropical getaway.

The Villa~ Superb!! Ionie, Birdy and Hurga keep it clean, and well maintained. The three main house bedrooms are all very nice, with the master being the biggest. The bathrooms all have sunken tubs with gardens outside. The pool house bedroom is very nice, closer to the water. The bathroom has a standup shower, not a sunken tub. Each room also has a porch with an amazing ocean view and comfortable chairs and a small table. Gates secure each room and are locked each night~ very safe! Beds and linens are fabulous. Beds made with pressed sheets everyday. Towels replaced as you use them. This was better than the best hotel I have stayed in. Beds were all comfortable and plenty of pillows. There was also a mosquito machine in each room at night. Dirty laundry was washed and pressed by afternoon~ what a luxury!!! Vee and Birdy work hard behind the scenes washing, hanging and ironing!! We had a couple stay in the pool house (5th bedroom). This room is open and not very private. It does have it's own bath with a stand up shower. They were able to push the two twins together to make a king, and it worked well. I will say it is a stretch to advertise this as a 5th bedroom, but we were warned that this lacked privacy- the description was accurate, and the staff did their best to make it a nice area. On the flip side, it is a small addition to the price for the 5th bed, and if someone isn't picky~ this is a great option.

After a short 3-1/2 hour non-stop flight from Philadelphia though an annoyingly long wait to get through customs, we arrived at Noble House. Upon entering the beautiful arched and gated drive, we were met by the entire staff of 9 offering ice cold washcloths and rum punch for the adults and fruit punch for the kids and the vibes of the Island playing on the stereo. Our worries, concerns, and anticipation were allayed as we entered Noble House. After introductions, our luggage disappeared and we were guided throughout the large estate being shown the rooms and the grounds. The villa was amazing! The décor is stunning and elegant yet with a relaxed vibe. The grounds are lush, green, and colorful with a profusion of flowers. Everywhere there is water. In the entrance foyer is an indoor moat surrounding an island of greenery. A red bridge crosses another indoor waterway leading into the formal dining room. Looking out through the back patio is the turquoise ocean which is knee deep for about 600 feet making it very safe for children to frolic. Walking down a short path from the main house to the 2000 square-foot pool house is an enormous sparkling clean pool. Beyond the pool is a waterfall softly flowing into a koi-filled pond and I caught a fleeting glimpse of the elusive turtle that lurks within. Everywhere we looked flowers of various colors bloomed and we weren’t even in the best blooming months so we were told! The observation deck above overlooks the beautiful estate and ocean with not a house in site though they are nearby. All of the bedrooms are large with king sized beds and restful Caribbean colors and magically our luggage appeared ready to be emptied. All the walls slide open for indoor-outdoor living and each bedroom has a covered veranda to read, relax, take coffee or tea but with intricate gating so as to lock up at night to ensure the children can’t get out without supervision and no one can enter while we slept. At night the walls slide shut and the rooms went pitch black for a restful sleep while the sounds of the frogs lulled us to sleep. The meals were to die for and served by Rodrick with such flare! Chef Jerome rivals any award-winning chef and served up creations including lobster, crab, octopus, squid, ox tail, goat, and other protein always served with salad and various vegetables and ending with the most scrumptious desserts we could have ever dreamed up. If we mentioned we liked some food item the next day it would be on our plates and better than we remembered it the last time we had eaten it. Every morning we were served fresh fruit of papaya, mango, kiwi, pears, apples, and others. In addition we had eggs, pancakes, muffins, toast, and fresh squeezed juices each morning. Around 5:00 every night were appetizers such as mussels, crab legs, cheese, crackers, and dips among some of the choices. Roderick ensured that we had a fresh fruit drink daily that was delicious and quenching. We had open access to cold drinks in the bar refrigerator and wine for dinner. Atop the counter were fresh baked goodies in the cookie jar throughout our stay. For our anniversary surprise they set up a stunningly decorated table on the beach with candles and dinner was served with the sounds of the ocean at our feet and a cake to celebrate. The staff ensured that we felt special. Every afternoon we returned from an adventure outside Noble House or the house pool to find a tray covered with linen and a flower in each bedroom and within our clean laundry courtesy of Vee. When we used the bathroom to shower or wash up, upon our return to our room later fresh towels replaced the used ones and the room had been cleaned. Ionie, Birdie, and Hurga took care of everything we requested and within hours knew our habits and anticipated our every desire. Roderick even suggested a massage night and arranged the masseuse for all of us throughout the day (extra charge but reasonable). Glen, Dean and Oniey kept the grounds spotless including raking our beach each morning, cleaning the pool daily, and ensuring that not a leaf or petal was on the 5 acre estate. The staff played soccer, badminton, croquet, and volleyball with the us. They watched over and kept my 82-year old mother company throughout the day when the rest of us went snorkeling. When my husband and I went out, they watched the kids, too. We invited the staff’s kids and grandkids to join us on our last day and to us they felt like family. Everyone played, swam and snorkeled together. We even found a huge starfish a short distance from shore and everyone got to hold it and have their photos taken before releasing it back into the ocean! There were more stations on the televisions then I’ve ever imagined but we were so relaxed we never found the time to watch anything instead choosing to read, swim, or just enjoy being a family and sharing time together. We went to Kauai last year and have been to St. Lucia and the Bahamas and I can honestly say that Noble House is a slice of heaven. While Europe was our planned vacation spot for 2014, we have all decided as a family that we are returning to Noble House instead. We have so much more exploring to do on the island and ever time we entered a part of Noble House it seemed a new piece of artwork awaited us. The artwork is from local artist and antiques from across the world and just so interesting to explore. We even had a visit from Linda Smith of [email protected] who is our rental specialist for Jamaican villas. She was checking to see if we were satisfied and she sure got an ear full of contentedness. I honestly can say that all 6 of us from ages 6 to 84 feel that our fairy tales came true at Noble House. There is nowhere else as beautiful and peaceful as Noble House.
