Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Villa Apsara sits on an enviable location in Laguna, near Bang Tao beach. The villa has been designed in a fusion of Indonesian and Thai styles and decked out in contemporary fittings for a truly unique experience.
There are 4 bedrooms in Villa Apsara. One bedroom has a King sized bed, two have twin beds, and the last bedroom is located in a self-contained private garden suite, with a sofa bed. The living and dining areas are elegantly furnished with dark wood furniture and decorated with tasteful pieces of art. The dining area is next to the fully equipped kitchen and has a dining table that seats 8. There is also an outdoor dining table that also seats 8.
The villa also features a lovely 10m pool and Jacuzzi. The poolside deck has plenty of sun beds for guests to lounge around with, as well as a shaded sala. There is also an outdoor entertainment area with bar and BBQ facilities. A magical time awaits at Villa Apsara!
We did not know what to expect when we arrived here - but we were absolutely blown away by how helpful and pleasant eveyone was. The rooms were exeptionally clean and the hotel was the same. We had a lot of rain which was apparently expected - but we had a lot! We were given an upgrade to a Villa after four nights and they were amazing. This was because it is out of season right now and they were available. This area has a rustic charm of its own and is beautiful. There is a bar next door to the hotel called "Memories" that makes you feel as if you found a secret place all of your own. The atmosphere is so relaxed. I will say that were a few dogs around the hotel. They were all loving and friendly. We loved it but they only approached people that were obviously dog lovers. For anyone else, they are no problem. I would highly reccommend this hotel and make sure you do the trips too: James Bond Island and the Elephants. We used Khao Lak Vista for the trips and our transfers and they were briĺiant. A big thank you to Oil and Tom for taking care of us.
We have been to Khao Lak 3 times and I have done a lot of surfing in the Pakarang area and always parked our scooter @ the entrance to the resort, walked the beach past the Apsara on our way to Memories and every time admired this resort....So,this September,we decided to book a Deluxe ocean view room to always give myself an up to date surf report...Well,the resort upgraded us to room 112,a pool access room with filtered ocean views...My lady was overwhelmed with the fact that we can jump out of bed and jump in the pool(our first time in a pool access room)The aircon wasn't working so they shifted us to room 120...To my surprise, this room had full view of the ocean...YES...!!...So,in my opinion ask for room 120...!!... We had every intention of renting scooters(3 of us are licenced riders)so one day we commissioned a taxi to Bang La On...On the way we stopped in at Friendly bar/restaurant on the corner of Pakarang Rd and the beach Rd,rented 2 scooters at 250baht/day for 7 days...I left my passport copy...As it was we actually had the bikes for 8 days but he gave us the last day free...Thankyou Mr Wit....!!...Then,on the last day,we returned the bikes and they offered us a ride back to the resort...3 of us on a scooter...!!...Whoah...!!... It is so pleasant to see little visitors to our balcony...squirrels,fireflies,frogs & lizards... I took my surfboard with me hoping to get waves within my 9 days staying on Pakarang at Apsara...We arrived and the ocean was almost flat...this went on for 6 days...oh nooo..!!??...No waves, then Wednesday,a small increase in swell so I scootered to Nang Thong Beach(20 minutes ride) for some waves...Thursday afternoon 5:15pm,Pakarang beach was 2-3 feet and lots of fun,Friday was good but smaller,Saturday morning,my last day, swell had decreased but still fun, then we had to pack and leave.... Everything positive about the Apsara has already been said by other reviewers & I agree... My conclusion for the Apsara would be...We love it there and we'll be back...
We had the most wonderful stay at this fabulous hotel. The staff are extremely attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. The manager Sammy Bautista Tarrayo is amazing. He always went the extra mile and made all his guests feel special. I really enjoyed our chats. We stayed in a deluxe room on the beach which was gorgeous but after a few days we were offered a free upgrade which we accepted to the villa which was out of this world with its own pool......how gorgeous. The location of this hotel is breathtaking. The beach and surrounding area is a little bit of paradise it really is. We came out of season and we did get a lot of rain so beware if you are thinking of staying in Khoa lak in September . However it didn't spoil our holiday. We went with two lovely friends so we were in good company. The food in the hotel is excellent and reasonably priced. We stayed bed and breakfast and ate in the hotel a few times. We also ate in Memories bar which is next to the hotel it's absolutely gorgeous a restaurant on the beach and it's a must if you are staying at the hotel. They have a couple of dogs that are gorgeous who sleep on the sand. The hotel also has the most amazing dog called Lilly who is just the most gorgeous friendliest dog I have ever seen she is very special and when we left I was heartbroken leaving her. We went on a few trips. Phi phi we booked through the hotel which was fantastic very well organised. We also did the full day in Khoa Lak and James Bond island we booked these through Khoa Lak Vista who are amazing our driver Tom and guide Oil were just fabulous. I could go on .....just an amazing holiday at an amazing place in amazing hotel.
I stayed here from 31 Aug 15 to 6 Sep 15. I am giving it 5 stars, as it is simply beautiful, there are some comments I'll make but are no reflection on the resort itself, just helpful tips. I travelled with my 14 yo son, currently in te throes of early teen angst. I has booked the resort as it promised water activities, which he does love. Unfortunately I realised when we arrived this is the 'off season' so while there were boogie boards and surf lessons, we couldn't actually find anyone around who could give lessons, again, not the resorts fault, just timing. There were volleyball courts but no-one could find a ball, and there really weren't any others to field a team anyway....It was VERY quiet this time of year, although the weather was absolutely perfect. We got upgraded to the villa suite, and the pictures on the website are spot on, the room is beautiful with an outdoor bath...not so romantic with the 14 yo but if I was travelling as a couple I would have been more than thrilled. The pools are beautiful...again pics are accurate. The beach is beautiful too, there was no patrol (offseason) and on one day the 'no swim' flag was up, but other than tat, lovely and safe. The Zues bar on the beach was closed for renovations and on one day the main pool was shut for treatment (sigh yes, offseason) but the other restaurants are lovely. Food is pretty good, cocktails delicious. If I was a young family, or a couple looking for a relaxing getaway, this place would be absolutely perfect...it was lovely and relaxing for me, teenage son probably needed a bit more choice in activity, high season he would have loved it. We caught the shuttle twice into the local market, bargain bargain bargain and lots of foods to try. This place is an hour and a half from the airport, and we booked a day trip out to Phi Phi Island, the drive to the boat took 2.5 hrs, so factor that in...the shuttle to the market will cost you $100 baht, we went one way and caught a taxi back after dinner ($300 baht), the shuttle to the airport will cost you $2500 baht, a taxi quotes about $1500 for the same trip. The resort itself is kept spotless, and I had a massage every day in the spa, you can get them on the beach too if you like! There aren't really any cons, again due to the time of year we stayed a few things were off the list but not a reflection on the resort, would absolutely stay here again.
i stayed in this resort from the end of August til the beginning of September for at least 2 weeks. it was a blessing to spend my vacation there. The stuff was amazing, the rooms are very clean and nice furnitured. it is a very beautiful resort. We will defintley coming back!
We had an amazing stay the staff helped us in every way possible with a smile enthusiasm and grace. Rooms were maintained to a high standard ( garden villa ) beach was beautiful and not at all busy sea kayaking was fantastic for the teenagers a dream holiday had by all thank you
we love the location and the beach a lot. the wide sandy beach you walk and walk but still doesn't get too deep. food was good but the service was not. Some of the stuff was very friendly and professional while others were very unprofessional and sticky and cheating. Otherwise everything was pretty good.
