They are furnished with comfortable queen-sized beds that are heavenly to sleep on. Flat-screen TVs can be enjoyed while lounging on the wicker armchairs, or you can even get comfy with a good book.
The air-conditioned bedrooms are accompanied by en-suite bathrooms that are equally luxurious with freestanding bathtubs for a lazy bathtime. There are work desks in the rooms as well, for anyone who wishes to take these peaceful surroundings as an excuse to work without interruptions!

Occupying a major chunk of the backyard is the gorgeous 9-metre swimming pool at Shanti Layan Villa, which is flanked a stunning, hand-carved stone wall featuring a large Buddha bust as a water feature. Cascading down into the pool, the water smoothly flows into the pool’s crisp waters for an almost meditative and zen-like ambiance. Relax and take it easy as you lounge on the daybed that is housed under a traditional sala. Surrounded by verdant tropical plants and tall trees, the pool area is immediately refreshing, making you feel right at home amidst flourishing nature!
Adjoining the pool is the well-furnished terrace at the villa, which not only provides a nice and pleasing sitting area to guests but also ensures that you make the most of your natural environment. It has been furnished with rattan seating and is a great spot to start off your day with a loaded breakfast. The main living area at Shanti Layan however, is housed behind sliding glass doors overlooking the swimming pool. As opposed to the yard, this area is quite contemporary as it features black, faux leather couches, a flat-screen TV, DVD player and air-conditioning.
Another seating is found right beside the doors and the fully-equipped kitchen with light-wooden furniture that looks straight out at the terrace. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances, granite countertops, an island serving as the breakfast bar, and others. You will find a coffee machine, microwave/oven, a double-door refrigerator and much more.
Shanti Layan villa offers the services of a housekeeping staff, pool and garden maintenance to keep the villa spic and span. You have nothing to worry about as everything is well-taken care of. If you wish to travel around the island with ease, the staff will happily arrange for a car/driver for you, at a special cost!
The villa is conveniently located near Bangtao beach, which is a famous destination for travellers. Good for swimming when the tide is low, the beach offers many fun things to do for everyone.
